It’s a pretty static Tuesday weather-wise for Calgary.
We are off to a warmer start compared to Monday but we also won’t get as warm as we did yesterday either (5 C).

In addition to northerly winds, misty conditions and the potential for scattered flurries will continue throughout the morning, which will hamper the sun from heating up the ground.
So, we will have to settle for a high of 3 C this afternoon, which is on the cooler side of the seasonal range.

A stationary front is hovering over southern Alberta right now dividing a warm air mass in the west from a cooler air mass to the east.
Along this front are two low pressure centers, one between Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, and the other over Billings, Mont.
These lows are controlling the direction of our wind today, pulling in the cooler air from the north.
This front set up will move out on Wednesday with the final day of the winter seasonal looking to be sunny with a high of 8 C.
We remain above seasonal for that first day of spring on Thursday, but it will be a cloudy start to the new season with a high of 9 C.
