Here’s who the final regular season opponent will be against the Calgary Flames at the Saddledome

The Calgary Flames announced their 2026-27 schedule Thursday, which included the name of their final opponent at the Scotiabank Saddledome -- and it isn’t who you might think it would be.

The Flames open the season Oct. 1 at home against the Seattle Kraken.

With an 84-game schedule, the Flames play each divisional opponent four times, including two at home against all seven Pacific Division rival.

They will play teams from the Central Division three times and teams from the Eastern Conference twice.

That means four new chapters to be written in the Battle of Alberta against Edmonton, including home games March 3 and March 23 and road games on Oct. 28 and another on April 5.

The final game at the Saddledome will be on April 10 against their western Canadian rival, it just won’t be the Oilers -- it will be the Vancouver Canucks.

Puck drop for the final regular season game at the Saddledome is 8 p.m. MST.

Season ticket packages are available now. Individual game tickets will be available in the near future.

The Flames are scheduled to move into their new event centre in 2027-28.
