With goaltender Daniel Hauser leading the way, the Calgary Hitmen continued to roll Saturday, defeating the Lethbridge Hurricanes 3-1.

The win extended the Hitmen’s point streak to 11 games in a row.

Ethan Moore scored twice and Tanner Howe added an empty-netter for the Hitmen.

Miguel Marques scored with just under two minutes left to give the Hurricanes hope at 2-1 until Howe sealed the deal for the Hitmen.

The victory moved the Hitmen to within two points of the Medicine Hat Tigers for first place in the WHL’s Central Division, with two games in hand.

With the win, Hauser moved into a tie with Nolan Maier for most career wins by a goaltender in the WHL, with 122.

Next up for the Hitmen is a Sunday matinee with the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Saddledome. Puck drop is scheduled for 2 p.m.
