Friday will start off chilly, but will get just above freezing for the afternoon

The winds will calm down significantly for Friday.

Thursday came with 80 km/h gusts, and those will weaken to 30 on Friday in Calgary.

It will be a chilly start to the day, with a wind chill of -13 when most head out.

In the afternoon, we will get just above freezing.

Chinook winds will kick in again for Saturday, so it will be gusty, but the westerly winds will get us back into the double digits for a day.

Next workweek will still be cooler but still mild and above normal.

Next weekend, our daytime highs will plunge into the minus double digits, so make the best of the warmth that’s here!
