Expect snow and cold Saturday morning. One of those should fizzle out in the afternoon

The cold's settled in and is here one more day before we start to warm again. We'll creep above freezing next week.

It’ll be another cold one Saturday in the city.

Expect snow to be more widespread and consistent Saturday morning, then fizzle out to on-off flurries in the afternoon.

Calgary will pick up five to seven centimetres of snow, and the wind chill will be around -18 for the day.

The sun returns for Sunday, and a west wind will get us to milder/normal temperatures by then.

By Tuesday of next week, we should get above freezing.
