The city is making a few adjustments to Calgary Transit bus schedules.

It’s part of an annual tweaking of schedules the city makes after reviewing routes, ridership, traffic patterns and feedback from its drivers and Calgary Transit riders in an effort to improve service.

There are a lot of schedule tweaks being made, but a few include stop optimization along Fourth Street S.W. and Ninth Avenue S.E., a realignment of Route 167 in Legacy that expands coverage -- and the introduction of Route 80, a new route that serves the community of Homestead.

Spring service changes come into effect Monday morning.
