Calgary gas prices bump up ahead of May long weekend

If you’re filling up this May long weekend, it’s going to cost you a little more.

The price at the pump climbed overnight in Calgary, rising more than 10 cents a litre, with many spots offering regular at around $1.37.9.

Analysts say the May long weekend is when gas prices tend to start levelling off ahead of summer, but warn that the “Trump factor” could throw traditional price expectations out of the window.
