Did BlackBerry's open letter manage to ease users' fears?

In an open letter to customers, BlackBerry reaffirms that users can count on the once-dominant smartphone player. But did the move actually ease customers’ fears?

The letter was released Monday on Twitter and published in 30 publications in nine countries Tuesday.

The company acknowledges "these are no doubt challenging times for us and we don't underestimate the situation" but notes, "you can continue to count on BlackBerry."
