A Nanaimo high school was evacuated this morning following a bomb threat.
Students and staff were removed from Nanaimo District Secondary School at around 8 a.m. and taken to the Nanaimo Ice Centre while police probed the threat.
Investigators tweeted at around 11:45 a.m. that the school had been cleared by officers and an explosive-sniffing dog and would reopen for the day.
The Nanaimo Aquatic Centre was also evacuated out of precaution.
