One person was sent to the hospital following a collision in the south end of Barrie on Monday.
Police say the two-vehicle collision happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Yonge Street between Mapleview Drive and St. Paul’s Crescent.

One person had to be extricated from a vehicle by Barrie Fire Services. Their injuries are described as non life-threatening.
A partial road closure was set up on Yonge Street southbound between Mapleview Drive West and St. Paul’s Crescent while police investigated the collision.
The area has since reopened.
