Instead of the usual snowfall warnings we’ve seen lately, the national weather agency is warning residents across Simcoe County, Muskoka and surrounding areas to be prepared for 15 to 25 millimetres of rain mixed with snow.
The rain, which is expected to last through Wednesday, will be heavy at times, including a possible thunderstorm Wednesday afternoon due to the warm weather.
Flooding in low-lying areas is possible, as is water pooling on our roads.
