A Quonset-type out building went up in flames in Oro-Medonte.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at approximately 11 p.m. Sunday.
The owners were not home at the time when 12 apparatus and 35 firefighters arrived at the scene on Line 11 between Horseshoe Valley and Warminster Sideroad.
“The building was being used as winter storage for boats,” said Oro-Medonte Fire Chief Roree Payment.
“Due to the delayed notification, all vehicles within the building were lost.”
Three ATV’s, a large boat and a scissor lift were destroyed by fire.
Payment said it took about an hour to extinguish the blaze, and firefighters remained on scene for about four hours dealing with hot spots.
There were no injuries and damage loss amounts have not been determined.
