Police seek information on serious County Road 27 crash in Bradford

South Simcoe police continue to investigate a serious collision in Bradford last week that sent several people to the hospital during “extremely hazardous” and “incredibly dangerous” winter travel conditions.

A crash involving a black Mercedes and a blue Mazda happened in the area of County Road 27 between Line 8 and Line 9 around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Air ambulance Ornge landed in the wintry weather to transport one person, a 64-year-old Alliston man to be treated for serious injuries.

While police ask the public for help with the investigation, they say no further details “about the investigation or personal injuries are available at this time.”

Anyone with information, including dash camera footage of the area between 1:30 p.m. and 1:40 p.m., is urged to contact the investigating officer, Const. Wazeer Rahman, at 905-775-3311 ext. 2029 or via email.
