Police investigating house fire in Dundalk

Police are investigating after a house fire broke out early Friday morning in Dundalk.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a structure fire just before 5:30 a.m. at a home on Mackenzie Street.

Firefighters from Dundalk and Sherlburne arrived and worked to extinguish the flames. Police say no one was inside the house at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police ask residents in the area to review any security or doorbell camera footage for suspicious activity around the time of the fire.
