Firefighters were called to a property on County Road 27 just south of Muirfield Drive in Essa Township Tuesday evening and arrived to find a shed engulfed in flames.
Crews battled to contain the fire believed to have been caused by a generator producing power to the mobile home situated near the shed.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing but the blaze is not considered suspicious.
Fortunately, the fire didn’t spread to the near by residences and was put out shortly after crews arrived at the scene.
The road near the home was closed until the fire was extinguished. It has since reopened.
Officials say the property was being used for storage and to work on a mobile home, noting the owner was living in Springwater.
No injuries were reported.
