A local Harvey’s is celebrating its 15th year of community giving by supporting a special shelter and social services facility in Orillia.
As part of this celebration, Laura Dickson, the owner of the Orillia Harvey’s location is recognizing six other local organizations by dedicating one full week to each.
This week, the spotlight is on The Lighthouse, an organization providing emergency shelter, outreach programs, and essential services to people experiencing homelessness in the city.
“We are incredibly grateful to Laura and Harvey’s Orillia for recognizing the importance of the work we do,” said Linda Goodall, Executive Director of The Lighthouse. “Every meal purchased this week will directly support individuals in need, helping us continue to provide essential resources and shelter.”

Community Combo Giveback (March., 24–30): For every Community Combo purchased ($9.49 for an original burger, side, and drink), $2 will be donated to The Lighthouse.
Special Fundraising Day (Tuesday, March., 26): 10 per cent of all sales will be donated directly to The Lighthouse.
Other recipients involved in this celebration include; The Sharing Place Food Centre, Hospice Orillia/Mariposa House Hospice, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orillia and District, and the Orillia Youth Centre.
