Egg-venture at the Simcoe County Museum

The Simcoe County Museum held an Easter event over the weekend

Families were hopping on over to the Simcoe County Museum on Saturday for a scavenger hunt.

Originally planned to be outdoors, rain forced the museum to move indoors where families had an opportunity to walk around the museum explore and learn about the county’s history.

Forrest Patenaude, education supervisor for the museum said it was great to offer the community something to do over the weekend.

“We haven’t done an Easter event here for a very long time, so we’re really excited to have this come back this year,” said Patenaude. “So we’ve got people hopping on over to the Simcoe County Museum to go for a scavenger hunt and Easter scavenger hunt.”

There were two separate scavenger hunts for families to enjoy, one for younger children and something for older children as well.

Games and crafts were also available for families to enjoy after they completed the scavenger hunt.
