A 41-year-old Toronto resident is facing drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop in the City of Kawartha Lakes over the weekend.
According to provincial police, an officer pulled a vehicle over around 10 p.m. Saturday on Highway 35, which led to an investigation into possible drug trafficking.
Police did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the incident, only saying the accused was also charged with possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000.
