Can you help police? OPP investigate death of Orillia father

47-year-old Justin Van Allen was stabbed while walking his dogs on Scout Valley Trail June 2, according to police.

If you saw something, heard something or have footage of what happened in Orillia’s Scout Valley, police say they want to hear from you.

According to provincial police, Justin Van Allen was out walking his dogs on the evening of June 2, when he was killed.

Orillia OPP say Van Allen was stabbed to death.

A 33-year-old Brampton man has been charged with second-degree murder following the death.

However, the investigation continues, as the OPP are turning to the public for help with the investigation.

Anyone with information on or dashcam or surveillance footage of what happened on June 2 is asked to contact Orillia OPP or Ontario Crime Stoppers.
