Fans lined-up for a taste of the Trailer Park Boys' latest creation.

Hundreds of fans gathered Friday at Coldstream Clear’s Dartmouth Crossing location, in Dartmouth, N.S., for the launch of a new drink collaboration with the Trailer Park Boys.

The event featured a meet-and-greet with the beloved East Coast comedy trio, alongside the debut of the “Trailer Park Pack,” a lineup of three ready-to-drink canned cocktails inspired by each character.

“You got Ricky’s lime Liquorade, Orange Tabby Creamsicle, and then Julian’s big strong 7-per center,” said actor Mike Smith, also known as Bubbles.

The drinks were developed with Coldstream Clear, a family-run Nova Scotia company. The Giffen siblings — Riley, Liam and Olivia — lead the brand, which has grown rapidly since launching in 2015.

“It’s a great partnership,” said Olivia Giffen, Coldstream’s VP of marketing and retail.

“Two East Coast companies with so much fan power behind them. We’re both super passionate and it really is the best of both worlds coming together.”

Actor Robb Wells, who plays Ricky, says the collaboration was an easy fit.

“We’re from the East Coast. We’re proud Nova Scotians. This is an awesome Nova Scotia company,” he said.

The day was filled with photos, autographs, laughter, and even a few happy tears. Some fans, including Dylan Spencer from Newfoundland, travelled from out of province just for a chance to meet the boys and get their hands on the limited-edition drinks.

“I booked a flight and came to Nova Scotia to meet the Trailer Park Boys,” said Spencer.

According to Coldstream, the response to the drinks has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Everyone loves the taste,” said Giffen. “We’ve had so much good feedback already.”

The Dartmouth launch kicks off a small regional tour, with upcoming stops in Stewiacke, Antigonish, and Sydney. Alongside the beverages, fans can also shop a limited-edition merch drop featuring Trailer Park Boys glassware, hoodies, hats, and more.

As for the event’s signature Trailer Park Boys humour — it was very much on tap.

“Come in, we’re signing autographs, meeting people, just hanging out,” said Bubbles. “You can touch his (Julian’s) muscles if you want. Anybody that buys five cases — he peels his shirt off, oils up, and does a flex down.”

The Trailer Park Pack is available now in select stores on online and will roll out in liquor stores across Atlantic Canada and Ontario in April.
