Prince Edward Island will increase its minimum wage twice in the next year, said a Friday news release from the province.
The minimum wage will increase from $16 to $16.50 per hour on Oct. 1, 2025. It will increase again to $17 per hour on April 1, 2026.
The raises come in accordance with scheduled changes from the province’s minimum wage order.
The minimum wage order sets the minimum wage rate and sets employment standards for the cost of board, lodging and meals.
