A 29-year-old man is dead following a crash between a motorcycle and a tractor trailer in Cavendish, P.E.I., on Monday afternoon. The RCMP responded to a 911 call about the crash on Route 6 near the Raspberry Point Oyster Bar around 3:45 p.m. A collision reconstructionist also attended the scene, according to an RCMP news release. “At this time, it does not appear drugs or alcohol are a factor in this incident,” the release reads. “However, the investigation is ongoing. “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this difficult time.” For more P.E.I. news, visit our dedicated provincial page.
