Charlottetown police charge three people with trafficking cocaine

The Charlottetown Police Services has seized more than 200 grams of cocaine and charged three people with drug trafficking as part of an investigation last month.

Police say officers executed search warrants at a Charlottetown hotel room, a Mount Stewart residence and a car on March 27. Along with 208 grams of cocaine, they seized a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, scales and cellphones.

Jennie Sara Mae Singleton, 40, Wayne Joseph Mosher, 35, and Cody Allen Vincent MacDonald, 37, were all charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, according to police.

Mosher was released on conditions while Singleton and MacDonald were remanded into custody. They are all scheduled to appear in court on May 7.
