A fire at a building in downtown Charlottetown Wednesday afternoon has displaced a dozen people.
Charlottetown Police Services, Charlottetown Fire Services and Island EMS responded to a 911 call reporting a structure fire on Sydney Street.
All residents evacuated the building.
Police say one man had to escape from a second story window.
He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by paramedics.
Police say the Canadian Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
Charlottetown Fire Services and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
