Traffic in the Burnside area of Dartmouth, N.S., was impacted by a multi-vehicle collision Thursday morning.
Police said in a news release just before 7 a.m. the collision happened in the 700 block of Windmill Road.
Traffic coming off Magazine Hill, inbound to Dartmouth, was being redirected east on Akerley Boulevard. Outbound traffic was not affected.

Police asked motorists to use alternate routes to avoid delays.

The area reopened to traffic around 7:15 a.m.
There is no word on the cause of the crash or the extent of any injuries.
