Halifax Regional RCMP is searching for a man after a boat capsized in Devon, N.S.

RCMP, fire crews and EHS responded at approximately 3:25 p.m. to a report that a boat capsized on Cousins Lake Thursday.

Officers learned two men were aboard the small pleasure craft. A 58-year-old man from Truro remains missing, said a police news release.

The other man, a 53-year-old, swam to shore and called for help. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by EHS.

The ongoing search is being assisted by Halifax Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR), Musquodoboit Valley GSAR and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team.
