The Nova Scotia RCMP continues to seek answers into the disappearance of a man who has been missing for a year.

Cody Duane MacDonald was last seen on Feb. 29, 2024 at a home on Campbell Road in Grande Anse, N.S.

Police say a multi-day search of nearby areas was conducted in March 2024 by Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue, Sydney Ground Search and Rescue, RCMP Police Dog Services, and RCMP Air Services.

MacDonald is described as five-foot-10 and 145 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

“Initially it was believed he was wearing an orange survival suit at the time of his disappearance. However, information and evidence gathered indicates he was last seen wearing a grey hat and green fisherman boots,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

Police have received numerous tips over the past year, but are currently seeking information about the hours and days leading up to MacDonald’s disappearance.

Anyone with information about MacDonald’s whereabouts is asked to contact Richmond County District RCMP at 902-535-2002 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
