The RCMP in Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County is investigating a suspected arson after a structure fire in Tanner Settlement, N.S.
Lunenburg District RCMP and firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on Tanner Settlement Road just after 2 a.m. Monday.
When crews arrived, police say the home was fully engulfed in flames.
Crews extinguished the fire, but not before the home sustained “extensive damage.”
No one was inside the home at the time of the fire, according to an RCMP news release.
The force says the initial investigation indicates the fire was intentionally set.
