Missing Pictou County man’s disappearance considered ‘suspicious’: N.S. RCMP

Police in Nova Scotia’s Pictou County are searching for a missing man whose disappearance is now considered suspicious.

Steven Boudreau, 61, was last seen on Elgin Road in Hopewell, N.S., around 5 p.m. on April 18.

“As the investigation continued, investigators determined that the circumstances surrounding Boudreau’s disappearance are suspicious. The RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit then assumed lead of the investigation,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

Officers found a white Honda Accord, which they believe is Boudreau’s car, in Kings County Friday. The vehicle is being processed by the RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

Police describe Boudreau as six-foot-two and 190 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes.
