A 20-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash near Islandview, N.S.
The Cape Breton Regional Police was called to assist Fire Services and EHS around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. According to a news release from the force, witnesses were needed to help locate the vehicle, which was found “in the trees” several hundred feet from the Eskasoni Highway.
Police say the driver, a 20-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic Safety investigators processed the scene and the vehicle was towed for mechanical inspection.
The investigation is ongoing.
