Halifax Regional Police says human remains found last year have been positively identified as those of murdered teenager Devon Sinclair Marsman.
Investigators found the remains in September 2024. They were then sent to the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service for identification.
That month, police confirmed Marsman – who was reported missing in March 2022 – had been the victim of a homicide and the remains were believed to be his.
Investigators received results this week that confirm the remains belonged to Marsman.
Police say the location where his remains were found will not be released at this time as “court proceedings are ongoing.”
