Police in Halifax say they are looking for a suspect after a robbery at a gas station Thursday night.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Ultramar gas station on Gottingen Street just before 9:30 p.m.
Police say a man entered the store, threatened staff and stole cigarettes and money.
A staff member who was working at the time was not injured.
Police say the suspect ran away westbound on Almon Street.
They describe the suspect as a white man in his 30s, wearing a black jacket with a beige hooded sweatshirt, black pants and beige shoes.
Police say a black jacket belonging to the suspect was found on nearby Black Street near Northwood Terrace.
