As wildfire season gets underway, Halifax has launched a new online tool to check daily burn restrictions in the region.
“Before You Burn” provides up-to-date information on whether or not burning is allowed in the Halifax area. It can be localized to specific civic addresses and includes details on all types of burnings.
The wildfire risk season runs from March 15 to Oct. 15 in Nova Scotia.
