Firefighters respond to fire at vacant commercial building in Middleton, N.S.

Firefighters are battling a blaze at a vacant commercial building on School Street in Middleton, N.S., Thursday morning.

The Middleton Fire Department says the call came in around 6:30 a.m.

Crews were still trying to extinguish the fire two hours later.

There were no reported injuries.

The building has housed a number of businesses over the years, including a hardware store.
