Arkells, 54-40 and Nova Scotia’s own Wintersleep will headline the annual Jubilee music festival in New Glasgow, N.S., this summer.

The Jubilee announced its all-Canadian lineup Friday.

Chair Janine Linthorne said the festival always tries to showcase Canadian acts, but this year it was especially important to make the lineup “100 per cent Canadian.”

“Jubilee 2025 is about celebrating our incredible Canadian music scene while staying true to our mission of pairing local acts with international award-winning tour bands,” said Linthorne in a news release.

“With an all-Canadian lineup and an unforgettable weekend of live music, we’re excited to bring the community together for a weekend full of music, memories, and community!”

The three-day festival takes place from Aug. 1 to Aug. 3.

New Glasgow Mayor Nancy Dicks said the Jubilee is a “cornerstone” of the community and noted the town is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.

“As we celebrate New Glasgow’s 150th anniversary, this festival embodies the spirit of our town—bringing people together through music and culture,” she said.
