School soccer field in Hampton significantly damaged by pickup truck: N.B. RCMP

Police in Hampton, N.B., are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a case of property damage at a school in the town.

Police say someone drove a vehicle on school property on Elizabeth Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

The driver allegedly caused “significant damage” to the soccer field.

Police believe they were driving a large pickup truck with a loud muffler and lights on the roof.

They also believe that there could be damage on the passenger side taillight of the truck.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call them at 506-832-5566 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Their investigation is ongoing.
