A 34-year-old Saint John, N.B., man is facing a child pornography charge following a multi-month investigation by the Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
The RCMP started investigating in July 2024 after receiving information from its National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.
Officers executed a search warrant at a Mystery Lake Drive residence on Oct. 10, 2024, according to an RCMP news release. They arrested a man at the scene and seized several electronic devices.
Anthony Brian Larocque was charged with possession of child pornography on Tuesday. He was released on strict conditions and will return to court at a later date.
