Outdoor public pools open Saturday in Moncton

Moncton will open the city’s two outdoor pools for the summer season on Saturday.

Centennial Park Pool and East End Pool will open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., said the city in a news release.

The pools will split the schedule for lap swimming. Centennial will be open for lap swims from 7 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday. East End will host lap swims from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

There is a daily fee to use the pool and season passes are available. Users can pay fees at the pools or at either YMCA in Moncton.

All city-owned splashpads are now open for the season. Splashpads are free and are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
