N.B. RCMP trying to identify suspect after man robbed at gunpoint in Dieppe

Police are turning to the public for help as they try to identify the people involved in an armed robbery in Dieppe, N.B., last June.

The RCMP says a man was walking from the bus stop to a location on Amirault Street when a red Buick Enclave pulled up behind him around 11 a.m. on June. 16, 2025.

“A suspect exited the vehicle, approached the victim on foot and pointed a firearm, demanding valuables from the victim,” said the RCMP in a news release Friday.

“The suspect demanded his personal effects before fleeing the scene. The suspect fled in the vehicle before police arrived. Police believe there were other occupants in the vehicle.”

Police say they have followed up on all leads since the robbery, but they haven’t been able to identify the suspects, so they are releasing photos of the vehicle in the hopes someone will recognize it.

“We are now requesting the assistance from the public, and are hoping that, despite the time passed, someone may have information about the vehicle or its occupants that could help further the investigation,” said the RCMP.

The suspect is described as a white man with blue eyes and light brown hair. He is roughly five-foot-eight inches tall.
