Two arrested following search warrant at Hebbville residence: N.S. RCMP

Two people have been arrested following a search warrant at a property in Hebbville, N.S.

Police say officers began an investigation into reported threats on Friday. During the investigation, police learned a woman in Hebbville was unlawfully in possession of a firearm.

On Monday, officers conducted a search at a residence on Catidian Pl. During the search, police say they arrested two people and seized a replica firearm from inside the home.

A 21-year-old Hebbville woman will face charges related to assault and threats, police say. She was released on conditions pending a future court appearance at Bridgewater provincial court on June 17.

A second person was released without charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
