Storm Watch: School closures, cancellations

Nova Scotia

- Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education: Schools will start two hours later than usual. Bus drivers will also use their discretion on roads.

- South Shore Regional Centre for Education: Back road closure plans are in place for both Lunenburg and Queens counties.

- Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education: All schools are closed. Office and worksites are open.

- Strait Regional Centre for Education: Classes are cancelled at all schools.

- Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education: Classes are cancelled for all students. CBVRCE worksites will open at 10 a.m.

- CSAP: Classes are cancelled at École Belle-Baie, Centre scolaire Étoile de l’Acadie, École NDA, École Beau-Port, École acadienne de Pomquet, École acadienne de Truro. École Rose-des-Vents is on a two-hour delay.

- St. Francis Xavier University will delay opening until 2:30 p.m.

- NSCC: Pictou Campus is closed. Strait Area Campus, including the Wagmatcook Learning Centre, are closed. Sydney Waterfront Campus is delayed opening until 10 a.m.

New Brunswick

- There are no school closures in New Brunswick.

Prince Edward Island

- Public Schools Branch: All classes are on a one-hour delay, with a further announcement by 8 a.m.

- French Language School Board: All schools are on a one-hour delay.

- UPEI will delay opening until noon with a further announcement at 10 a.m.

- Holland Collage: All locations will be delayed. A further announcement will be made at 9 a.m.
