Gas prices up across the Maritimes, diesel down in N.S. and N.B.

The price of gas increased overnight for all three Maritime provinces, while there was a decrease in the price of diesel in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Nova Scotia

The minimum price for regular self-serve gasoline in Nova Scotia increased by 4.7 cents. The new price in the Halifax-area is 160.0 cents per litre.

Diesel prices decreased by 1.1 cents, bringing the minimum price to 178.0 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, the minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is 162.0 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel on the island is now 180.0 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The minimum price for regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. increased by 1.2 cents to a new minimum price of 163.0 cents per litre.

The price of diesel did not change. The minimum price remains 189.3 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

In New Brunswick, the maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline increased by 2.1 cents, bringing the new price to 160.1 cents per litre.

Diesel decreased by 1.3 cents. The maximum price is now 183.0 cents per litre.
