The latest gas prices in the Maritimes

Gas prices decreased slightly in Nova Scotia overnight while there was no change in prices at the pumps in New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in Nova Scotia decreased by 0.9 cents. The new minimum price in the Halifax area is 165.3 cents per litre.

Diesel prices in the province decreased by 1.1 cents. The new minimum price is 195.9 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, motorists are now paying a minimum price of 167.3 cents per litre for regular self-serve gasoline and 197.9 cents per litre for diesel.

Prince Edward Island

There was no change in the price of gas on P.E.I., for the second week in a row.

The minimum price of gas remains 175.0 cents per litre. The minimum price of diesel remains 203.7 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

In New Brunswick, the maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is still 167.5 cents per litre.

The maximum price of diesel remains 194.6 cents per litre.
