Gas prices down in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, no change on P.E.I.

CTV Atlantic's Stephanie Tsicos shares the latest changes at the pumps for Friday, March 14.

Gas prices decreased overnight in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, while there was no change in the price of gas on Prince Edward Island.

Nova Scotia

The minimum price for regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax-area decreased by 1.8 cents to a new price of 155.3 cents per litre.

Diesel prices decreased by 5.9 cents. The new minimum price is 179.1 cents per litre.

The minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline in Cape Breton is now 157.2 cents per litre and the minimum price of diesel is down to 181.0 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

There was no change in the price of gas on P.E.I. The minimum price for regular self-serve gasoline remains 161.8 cents per litre.

The price of diesel decreased by 1.7 cents bringing the minimum price to 189.3 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

The maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline in New Brunswick decreased by 3.5 cents. The new price is now 158.0 cents per litre.

Diesel prices meanwhile decreased by six cents. The new maximum price is 184.3 cents per litre.
