Todd Battis is the chief news anchor at CTV Atlantic. Originally from New Brunswick, Todd has lived and worked across Canada as a journalist. His years as a CTV National News correspondent took him to every corner of the country and around the world to report on significant news stories ranging from; the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, President Obama’s historic visit to Cuba, the conclave of Pope Francis, the Orlando night club shooting, and Brexit vote. He’s covered Olympics, U.S. Elections, Royal weddings, tragedies, triumphs, and more hurricanes in North America than he cares to recall. Todd was a reporter and host for three decades for CTV and CBC, before taking on the role of chief news anchor at CTV Atlantic. An alumnus of Acadia University and University of Regina, he lives in the Halifax area with his family.
