Archie Niari

Archie Niari joined the CTV News digital team in March 2026. He is a digital journalist who specializes in covering international news, current affairs, social issues and sports. He has worked both behind and in front of the camera, covering major global conflicts, elections and developments on current affairs. Archie has first-hand experience in the Middle East, providing on-the-ground insight into one of the world’s most dynamic and challenging regions. Before joining CTV News, he was a show producer with Global News Toronto, producing rundowns for audiences in parts of the Greater Toronto Area, Winnipeg, Montreal and the Maritimes. He speaks English, Persian and Azerbaijani.
