A Victoria woman is fighting for her life after falling at least 20 feet from a tree onto the rocky beach below.
Fire crews responded to the call in the area of lower Washington Avenue on Wednesday morning.
Officials say long lines and high-angle techniques were used to bring the woman up.
Victoria Fire notes the woman is in her mid-twenties and may have suffered head trauma.
“She was acting out in pain, she wasn’t really responsive at all. Other than that she was pretty incoherent,” acting platoon captain John Mokosak said.
It’s unclear what the woman was doing in the tree.
