Original story: Mounties are scouring Metchosin for a 14-year-old boy with autism who went missing Wednesday morning.
Chad Sullivan, 14, was last seen at around 10 a.m. in the 1100-block of Kangaroo Road, according to West Shore RCMP.
Family are concerned for his health and well-being because he’s severely autistic and non-verbal, and likely won’t answer if called.
Chad is described as five feet tall, 80 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing brown pants and a blue shirt.
A search and rescue team and police dog unit have been deployed to assist in the search.
Police are asking residents around the 1100-block of Kangaroo Road to search their backyards, sheds and property for any sign of Chad.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
