Search and rescue crews were called to rescue two people whose boat capsized near Comox on Monday.
A boat carrying fish pens en route to the Powell River area from Comox was overloaded and started taking on water, according to volunteer rescuers.
Search and rescue sent a boat to the sinking vessel, plucking the two people onboard from the sinking vessel.
Rescuers said they were being brought back to Comox.
No injuries were reported.
