Nanaimo RCMP say two men in custody are facing multiple charges following an armed robbery at a jewelry store.
Investigators say two masked men went into a mall last night and headed to a jewelry store, where they produced what was believed to be a gun and began smashing display cases and taking jewelry.
Mounties say threats were made against the employees, but nobody was physically harmed.
Two suspects were later arrested in Ladysmith and police say they recovered property taken in the robbery, as well as a stolen vehicle.
